Porsche Leopard Earrings
These earrings are made from the metal hood of a 1997 Porsche 993 Carrera painted in a rare and coveted color called Wimbledon Green Metallic. We created 'faux' leopard skin by engraving it into the car paint to simulate spotted markings. The original car paint is left as the 'positive' image while the 'negative' image is the silver under metal. We added hammered gold brass rivets to create the illusion of an exotic animal pelt. Finally, to top it all off, we set shiny hematite gemstones in sterling silver lacy bezels for added bling and swanky appeal.
