CRASH Brings Style Fashion Week 2016 Down to Earth
High fashion became a little more grounded at Style Fashion Week 2016 when our earth-conscious CRASH Jewelry appeared on the runway along with haute couture designs. At the end of March, an assortment of CRASH Jewelry was worn on the runway during Style Fashion Week 2016 at the iconic Pacific Design Center. We were there opening night to see feminine, boho-chic designs by Hale Bob followed by dramatic haute couture from design house Quynh Paris. Highlights from the second night included elegant, classic designs by Mario De La Torre and sexy urban styles by Armature.
Closing night was an extravaganza: musical acts, snake charmers, fire twirlers and aerial performers kept us entertained while fashion designers and models prepared backstage. But our big moment came when we saw CRASH Jewelry on the runway with two up-and-coming young designers: Liliana Chavez of Fuschia Couture and Otilia Mendez of I-Am-Zoe.
Fuschia Couture is organic, sustainable, and eco-friendly clothing made from bamboo fiber and manufactured in the USA. Their brand consists of ready-to-wear and lifestyle collections for today's active woman. Like Fuschia Couture, every piece of CRASH Jewelry is made in the US. Each accessory is handcrafted from reclaimed luxury vehicles in our Los Angeles studio. We knew right away that our upcycled CRASH collection would be a perfect fit for Liliana's eco-conscious line.
Otilia Mendez is the designer-founder behind I-Am-Zoe, whose contemporary collection features classic designs in fresh and unconventional textiles. Mendez boldly layered our CRASH cuffs to compliment her statement-making designs.
Be sure to look for CRASH Jewelry at upcoming fashion shows. For now, please enjoy some fun runway photos. Cheers!
